Well it finally happened... I have now officially turned 50! I am told it will be wonderful!!! Early in the day my dear friend Elaine took me to lunch at Crackers. I wish we had taken a picture of us together.

Below are some pictures of my day!

That evening my Mom and Sister took us all to dinner at Texas Roadhouse... Yummm!

After dinner we went back to the house for cake and ice cream and presents.

With Madison and Redding...
With Adam...
With Michael...
With Bryce.
With Lara, my sweet daughter in law who went to a lot of effort to make my day special! Thanks Lara
We had cake and ice cream...!

And the boys gave me the gift they had been dying to give me all week!

This Beautiful picture is from my boys. I had admired it at Deseret Book for quite awhile and when it recently went on 90% off I was really considering buying it. But it sold before I could do so... little did I know that a girl from work had called Michael and told him about it and they are the ones that bought it. It is beautiful... I call it my Jane Austin picture. Thanks boys!

Later, after changing into my pj's Lindsey and Joe came over... (they had been helping Joe's sister move all day. We had a good visit but didn't take a picture because, well, I didn't look picture ready to be honest...
But it was a wonderful day!
Thanks kids and Mom & Bonnie... I had a great time!

Here are pictures of our busy week with Graduating Events.

Bacaluarette on Sunday started our busy week.
Baccalaurette (sp?) on Sunday.
Seminary Graduation on Tuesday night with dear friend Sam Loose.
Graduating Michael and his proud Momma. Little did we know how wet we would soon be.
Can you pick Michael out? He is the one with gold around his neck by the umbrella.
It was a sea of purple and gold. Michael hat by the end of graduation had disovled. All of the kids had worn the same hat for their graduation... Adam will have to wear a new one.
The Choir still sang. Michael loved it... but look at the very wet girls around him.
Do we look like drowned rats? What a dedicated Mom and brother... Three hours sitting in the rain. It was very wet but actually lots of fun. We were wetter than we look.. my back was soaked!
This years grad with our 2011 graduate. These are great brothers!
Michael catches a quick snack after graduation before heading over to Grad Night at Sunsplash... He didn't get enough water from all the rain (3 plus hours of it).

Madison playing with "cousin" best friends!

Madison was playing with these little dolls and had a doll for all her favorite best friends...Aunt Melanie, Maycie, Nathan, Ryan, Preslie, her brother Redding, Mommy and Daddy and herself... we ran out of dolls so Uncle Dan isn't there... Try to guess which one is who...

Redding's 1st Birthday May 10, 2009

They look nice and clean... but that won't last long.
Yummy Birthday Cake! He loved it but Madison wasn't so sure she wanted him doing that.
Doesn't he look like he had a lot of fun!!!?

Indiana Trip the first part of April.

So here are some pictures of my trip out to see Melanie and Dan and the kids. I am not good at doing this blogging in order. I always add pictures forgetting that I should start with the end of the story and work my way backwards. I didn't... so you are going to see pictures starting with our goodbyes first...Sorry. I had such a wonderful visit and can't wait to go back again!!! This first picture is when Melanie took me to the airport to go home. It was hard to say goodbye!
Grandma and kids at an Amish Store and Restaurant.
Four little monkeys swinging on a bridge!!
Preslie Anne dancing with her new boyfriend.
Melanie and Preslie in their new kitchen.
This is Dan's parents beautiful house.
The next day we woke up to this much snow. It was beautiful but it melted pretty fast.
We found enough snow to build a small snowman with Grandma...It really was fun!
Poor Nathan had wanted so badly to play in the snow and it mostly melted before we could stop and let the kids play in it... but he was determined to "snowboard".
Just not enough snow left. It melted fast.
Ryan thought there was plenty of snow to have fun. He was light enough that I could push him on his tummy on a saucer and he would sail down the hill.

"Maycie Anne's Baptism Day"

Ryan setting the spirit before the baptism.... He loved "playing" the piano and took his job very seriously. It was a piano that you could program it to play hymns... He really thought he was doing it. It was so sweet.

LIGHT's trip to Nauvoo and Chicago March 16-23, 2009. I got to go with the boys. It was so much fun. We really had a great time.

This is us in Chicago (Can you tell by my hair that it really is the windy city?) I put these pictures in backwards so you have to look at them from the end of the trip back to the begining. Oh, well. We began and ended in Chicago. We went to Nauvoo for a few days at the beginning fo the trip and had so many wonderful experiences. Out testimonies were greatly strengthened. After the first few days we went back to Chicago. Follow our journey backwards...

The following are pictures from the Saturday Competion.
