See my blessings...

This was our family picture we took at Christmas this past year. It is the first one taken without Paul here. After taking it I had wished we had had a picture of him somewhere in it. Then I thought about it as I was looking at it and decided that he was in it.. both in spirit and also in each person in that wonderful group. He is in their eyes and talents and mannerisms and attitudes etc. He is such a part of all of us and I see parts of him in each of my kids. I am blessed!

Sad Times for us, Exciting for them~

Well it is true! This sweet and wonderful little family is moving to Indiana in a few weeks. I am happy for the opportunities they will have but cry everytime I think about it. Like last night when I hugged them all goodnight after babysitting them. It will be a hard thing for this grandma to have to do but I am having to let them go so they can grow in different directions. I will truly miss them!!! Anyone wanting to share their frequent flyer miles?
