Lots has gone on in the past several months since I have posted anything on here. But the most recent was Lindsey's marraige to Christopher Kauhega.

Be sure to go to the bottom of the page first and turn off my other music before playing this or you will have two different songs playing at the same time.

Recent pictures of Michael on his mission. He is currently in Rancho Cucamonga still working as one of the Mission Secretaries.

This picture was at a dinner with some members. The woman in the front is a lady named Elaine. He had the opportunity to teach her a bit one night. But she was not in his area so other Elders had the opportunity to and then lost contact with her. Michael was recently moved to another residence and found out she was now in his area. He looked her up and found she lived in the same neighborhood. They are now teaching her.. He is so excited. He is still in the office as one of the secretaries. He loves his new Mission President & his wife. I love this guy!!!

He looks good and happy... but that is just Michael isn't it... :0)

May was a full month.

Redding turned 2 and Daniel turned 24 as we celebrated their birthdays. Autumn said good bye as she and Jeremy moved to Maryland. Sam our dear friend received his mission call to Madagascar.

June was a fun filled month for us.

Melanie and her family were able to come out for two weeks for a visit. We enjoyed playing and swimming and just having fun along with Bryce and Lara's children. This picture was taken just before they left. How blessed I am to have such great children to call my grandchildren.
Following are several collages and then some pictures of some of the fun we had together.

If you click on the collage it will get bigger... click again and it does even more.

I am so blessed to have these wonderful little people be such a part of my life.

The little ones are my sweet Grandkids. Maycie (9), Nathan (7), Ryan (4), Preslie (3)... Melanie's little ones. And Madison(4), and Redding(2), Bryce's children.

Girl time... kindof

We had fun having a Mary Kay demo/testing with Lara. Melanie snuck in a nap while Grandma played with kids, and Maycie and Adam got the flu and passed it around to many of us later in the week.

We played lots together.

We played with Tinker Toys, Play dough, Battleship, Pass the Pig, and strung beads and got tired.

Grandma Diana even made milk shakes... yummy!

Madison slept over and we watched movies with Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Adam and wrestled with Uncle Daniel.

We played dress up.

Ryan was always in costume and Preslie never had a straight expression on.

We had lots of fun having a tea party with our Nurse Maycie hosting it to her guests.Nathan played for awhile and decided the Game Cube was free for his private pleasure. I am guessing Redding was at home with Lara. Madison had spent the night before so she could be part of the fun.

We spent a lovely afternoon at the Temple.

Maycie took the pictures of these beautiful flowers and the baby ducks swimming in the reflection pool.

We got to spend time with cousin Cori and little cousins, Ian and Sheridan (Peanut).

You have to wonder what Redding is thinking here.

We celebrated Grandma Diana's Birthday early...

Yes, my hair is a mess and you don't see a good view of me... that was the rule given to the piture taker. We had just been swimming and I was a mess.

We were able to spend some time with my mother, Grandma Hammond. She is such a wonderful lady.

The top one is me and mom when she took me out to a yummy dinner for my birthday... Thanks Mom. Then she is with Preslie, then with Madison, then Madison and Redding and then with Bryce and Lara. I wish we had taken pictures with all the kids.

One of our favorite things to do was go swimming. Yeah for fun pools to entertain us!

And more swimming...

Then came the time for Melanie's family to head home. I drove out with Melanie and Lindsey to spare them on driving....

The first day we drove 15 hours and made it to Clinton, Oklahoma. Then day two was my birthday...so we made it our shortest day and drove 7 hours to to Fordland, Missouri to our dear friends, Patti and Stephen England's home. They welcomed us with a wonderful dinner and birthday cake. Jason and his family came over and Kim and her sweetheart came too. I didn't get picture of them...I wish I had but I did get a picture with Jason's new little sweet baby. We had a great time and even let off fireworks.

This place was really a piece of heaven. Rolling hills and open spaces. Thank you for taking us in and feeding us and loving us Patti and Steve!

Then our last day on the road.

I had to get a picture of these guys as we got on the road for our last stretch. We drove about 15 hours the first day, 7 the second day and 11 the last day. Wow. All in all these guys did great. Thanks to DVD players in the car, dramamine, and lots of snacks.
